Spooky events for children in Halifax this Halloween

Two Halifax landmarks are planning spooky activities for youngsters this Halloween.

At The Piece Hall, there will be a Halloween trail and creepy crafts every day from Monday, October 26 to Saturday, October 31.

Between 11am and 2.30pm each day, children will be able to pick up a trail sheet for the Harry Potter-themed mission from the Visitor Centre.

From there, little witches and wizards will be tasked with finding clues dotted around the iconic building.

Once their trail is complete, they can head to the Learning Studio to check their answers, receive a magical prize and take part in some Halloween-themed crafts and spooky colouring activities.

Admission is £3.50 per child and can be booked online or paid on the day.

At Halifax Borough Market, visitors will be able to get into the Halloween spirit with face painting and balloon modelling by the market’s clock on Friday, October 30 between 11am and 3pm.

And on Saturday, October 31, youngsters are invited to dress in their spookiest costumes and take part in a market-wide trick or treat trail, again between 11am and 3pm.
