Halifax town centre already has plenty to be proud of, from top restaurants, bars and independent shops to Westgate Arcade, Woolshops and The Piece Hall.

We asked Courier readers what could be added to make the town centre even better – and there were plenty of ideas.

In no particular order, here are some of the suggestions people made for things they would like to see brought here.
