9. Shoulder of Mutton, Southowram
One of the many pubs in Calderdale with this name, this 18th century pub on Cain Lane was a popular spot in Southowram. The villages pub sadly closed back in 2016.
10. The Bridge, Elland
Back in the day The Bridge was located at one end of Elland Bridge along Saddleworth Road. The pub was formerly The Royal Hotel and has now been turned into a Wellbeing centre.
11. The Royal Oak, Elland
The former pub used to sit on Lower Edge Road but the venue has since been turned into a house. It is thought The Royal Oak dated back to at least 1850.
12. Golden Pheasant, Pellon
The former Golden Pheasant pub in Pellon was transformed into a restaurant called Lanika back in 2013, but the venue kept the pub's history with past trophies and the darts board remaining.
