There's plenty to celebrate at the Royal Mail as it exceeds its regulatory First Class mail target in the HX postcode area.
The Royal Mail’s Quality of Service report for the first half of the 2018-19 financial year revealed the news that 93.5 per cent per cent of the regulatory First Class mail was delivered the next working day.

Royal Mail is the only UK mail delivery company required to publish Quality of Service performance against delivery targets every quarter.
It has one of the highest Quality of Service specifications of any major European country.

Steve Selby, Delivery Director, Royal Mail said: “We take our Quality of Service requirements extremely seriously. I’m very proud of our postmen and women who work very hard in all weathers to deliver to these challenging targets, which are among the most demanding anywhere in Europe.
“We’re very pleased with our performance in this area. We are more focused than ever on continuously improving and maintaining high standards of service for our customers.”
