Bailiff Bridge Beavers, Cubs and Scouts show support for Focus4Hope with food collection

Bailiff Bridge Beavers, Cubs and Scouts have collected a huge selection of food for Brighouse charity Focus4Hope to help those in need in the community this Christmas.

Focus4Hope offers care and hope to the vulnerable, lonely, isolated and those struggling with domestic violence and food poverty across Calderdale.

Charity volunteer Helene visited the groups to speak to some of the children at their section night this month and collected the donated food which will go into the charity’s Christmas hamper food parcels going to feed vulnerable families.

Stephen Naylor, chair of Bailiff Bridge Scout Group, said: “We’re incredibly proud to be able to support Focus4Hope and the amazing work the charity does.

"Thank you to all our children and family for their food donations, we know they will make a huge difference to many people in the run-up to Christmas.”
