'You really couldn't make it up': Sheep takes Calderdale pub's name a step too far, causing chaos climbing onto roof in middle of wedding
This sheep took a Calderdale pub’s name a little too literally.
Aa this photo shows, the farm animal was spotted roughly 6m up on the top of The Fleece Countryside Inn, between Ripponden and Barkisland.
It climbed up there on Friday afternoon, while guests were enjoying a wedding celebration.
Even traffic around the pub was brought to a standstill as people stopped to watch the woolly animal happily trot about.

Thankfully the sheep, which had managed to get up from the back of the property, was later coaxed down and returned to its field.
Owner of the pub, Mark Parkinson, said: "You really couldn't make it up.
"One of our staff shouted, 'There's a sheep on the lawn!' - which isn't all that unusual in the countryside.
"But, just minutes later, the same sheep was spotted on the roof!
"He wasn't content with simply grazing; he had to make a grand appearance, creating absolute chaos-right in the middle of a wedding, no less.”
