Avalanche, an Alpine inspired, pop-up tipi bar and grill concept has arrived in Halifax and made The Piece Hall its home for the next seven weeks.
“Avalanche at The Piece Hall” offers a laid-back atmosphere with authentic food and drink, inspired by owners Matt and Niamh’s multiple skiing trips to the Alps.

The three-peaked tipi is dressed with quirky additions such as skis, ski boots and not forgetting the cable car photobooth.
The open fire, festoon lights and wooden seating create a rustic vibe and overall festive experience.
A menu showcasing some of the Alps most treasured delicacies has been created; a firm favourite being Tartiflette, a dish from Savoy in the Alps made with potatoes, cheese, lardons and onion topped with raclette cheese.
