Free bus travel for Armed Forces members as Transdev renews poppy appeal
Former and current members of the Armed Forces can benefit from free bus travel on Remembrance Sunday and Remembrance Day as Transdev renews its poppy appeal.
Dozens of Team Pennine vehicles have been adorned with large commemorative poppies.
The regional bus operator is also offering free travel to former and current members of the Armed Forces on Remembrance Sunday (November 8) and Remembrance Day (November 11).

Transdev’s free travel option will be available across their whole network to current service members with a Forces ID, and to veterans in uniform or with their medals on.
Managing Director Henri Rohard said: “This Remembrance Weekend and Armistice Day, we are reminded of the sacrifice that the men and women of our Armed Forces have made for our freedom.
“We hope that by displaying these large poppies on our buses, many of our customers will join us in remembering those who serve and will donate to charitable causes that support our veterans.
“And for those current and former personnel who use our buses, we hope the free travel option allows them to visit friends, family, and local Remembrance events on both of these important days.”
