ICYMI - Solihull v Halifax preview
Solihull Moors v FC Halifax Town preview
Here is our preview of FC Halifax Town’s National League game against Solihull Moors.
Town’s front four
Must say I like the look of Town’s front four - pace with Waters and Allen, physicality with Vale, creativity with Warburton. Quite a big call to leave Slew on the bench but he was out of sorts on Tuesday night. Big chance for Vale to stake a claim here. Also a big call (presumably) not to play Waters through the middle
The hosts’ line-up
Solihull: Boot, Williams, Howe, Gudger, Cranston, Maycock, Maynard, Sbarra, Ball, Barnett, Dallas. Subs: Storer, Rooney, Obsorne, Donawa, Newton.
Would have thought we'll see Waters on the left, Allen on the right and Vale through the middle. Vale's first start for Town
Shaymen
Town team - Johnson, Warren, Maher, Bradbury, Senior, Spence, Green, Allen, Vale, Warburton, Waters. Subs: Gilmour, Woods, Slew, Debrah, Newby.
Only Chesterfield’s Kabongo Tshimanga has scored more goals in the National League this season than Town’s Billy Waters (8).
