'Move your cars' plea as roads shut for Calderdale town's Christmas market
Drivers are being warned their cars could be towed if they are parked where a Calderdale Christmas market is setting up this weekend.
Brighouse Christmas Market takes place tomorrow and Sunday, with scores of stalls and a feast of entertainment planned.
But organisers say any vehicles left in the town on roads that will be shut for the event could find them stuck until Sunday night – or even moved.
"As road closures will be in place for our Christmas Market this weekend, cars must not be left overnight tonight (Friday) or Saturday night,” Brighouse BID has posted.

"Road closures are in place from 7am until 6pm Saturday and Sunday.
"Any cars left will be unable to move out of town until after the event closes at 6pm or will be towed away if causing an obstruction where the stalls need to set up.
"Thank you for your understanding.”
The roads which will be closed are:
Commercial Street
Briggate
Market Street
Bethel Street
Park Street
Hall Street
Park Row
Bradford Road
King Street
