It’s now or never - for the Elvis Years!

The 80th anniversary of the birth of Elvis Presley is being celebrated this year with a stunning stage show which features more than 50 of ‘The King’s’ greatest hits.

‘The Elvis Years’ is a concert production telling the story of Elvis through the years. The show features the voice of Mario Kombou, original lead of ‘Jailhouse Rock’ in the West End, and his band, led by producer and musical director David Mackay.

The show, which visits the Victoria Theatre, Halifax, on Sunday (October 18), will include hits such as ‘Hound Dog’, ‘It’s Now or Never’, ‘Just Can’t Help Believing’, ‘That’s Alright Mama’ and ‘The Wonder of You’ as well as lesser-known numbers such as ‘Rock A Hula Baby’ and ‘Bossa Nova Baby’.

Mario Kombou, who has been performing as Elvis for more than 20 years, said: “2015 has been an incredible year for us and for our fans. We have brought the story of Elvis’s life to 80 different venues across the UK and returned to the West End for an unforgettable sell-out show. The five star reviews were the icing on the cake!

“Our show just keeps going from strength to strength.”

Mario has performed on TV on ‘Top of the Pops’ and GMTV and sang the National Anthem at Twickenham before an audience of 50,000.
