Fiendishly funny comedy line-up for Halloween

A fiendishly funny Halloween night line-up is promised for The Works, Sowerby Bridge, on Saturday, October 31.

Haunting the stage will be Justin Moorhouse, the stand-up comedian from Manchester who appeared in Peter Kay’s ‘Phoenix Nights’ and ‘Looking for Eric’.

This year saw the release of his first DVD and he has been touring the UK with his current show ‘Destiny Calling’.

Also on the bill will be Jeff Innocent whose appeal lies in the contrast between his East End ‘geezer’ appearance and demeanour and his philosophical take on life. The Guardian described him as having ‘the body of a nightclub bouncer and the brains of a university boffin’.

Completing the line-up will be Manchester’s Big Lou with Hayley Ellis compering for the evening.

The fun starts at 8.30pm and tickets are £12.50.
