'Come celebrate the good times while you can': Sad goodbye from Halifax town centre nightclub closing after 10 years

A Halifax nightclub which has been open for a decade is shutting.

Maggie’s, on Commercial Street in the town centre, has announced its last opening night will be on Saturday, November 22.

"After 10 incredible years, the Maggie’s era will come to a close next Saturday, November 22,” the club has posted.

"We’ve had a decade of unforgettable nights, laughter, and memories — and none of it would’ve been possible without all of you.

"But before we move beyond this amazing chapter, we want one last dance together.

"Let’s make next Saturday one to remember forever.

"Can’t make next week? We’re still open this weekend — come celebrate the good times while you can.”

As reported by the Courier, what was McFly’s – next door to Maggie’s – has recently reopened under a new name – Pop Bar and Nightclub.

The Courier understands a new venue will also be launched at the Maggie’s premises.
