New location for one of Halifax's favourite restaurants
A popular Halifax restaurant is moving.
Julio’s is currently on Princess Street but has announced it is “scaling up” and moving to a new location in early 2027.
The Italian restaurant has not specified where it is moving to but the Courier understands it is another site in Halifax town centre.
Julio’s is open as usual in the meantime.

It is not the only restaurant on the move.
As reported previously by the Courier, Sapore – also an Italian eatery – is moving from its Central Street premises to Wards End, into the space which used to be home to Anatolia.
Sapore posted yesterday that it will be opening on Fridays and Saturdays only for the next two weeks.
It will then be closed for two weeks to “put the finishing touches” to its new premises.
