Police are appealing for information following the attempted robbery and assault of two teenagers on Greenhead Lane at the Junction of Oaklands Drive, Waterloo in Huddersfield.

PC Nicole Senior from Kirklees Robbery team said, “Between 1.00am and 1.30am on Saturday 13 June, two teenage males were walking home when three or four men approached them from behind.

“One of the suspects demanded that they hand over their mobile phones and then both victims were punched several times, causing visible injuries, before they managed to get away.

“Two of the suspects were described as being around 6’ tall, skinny with short, spiky hair.

“One wore blue jeans and a white t-shirt. It is believed that the suspects may have been near Pronto Pizza on Wakefield Road, Waterloo just before the incident took place.”
