Halifax roadworks: Here are the bus diversions and stops missed during roadworks across Calderdale this week
Bus passengers will be facing diversions over the next few weeks as roadworks take place across Calderdale.
Here are the diversions and the stops missed on bus services and the works that are taking place:
Waterloo Road/Albion Street and John Street, Brighouse
Closed to allow for works by Northern Gas Networks to take place until November 9.
First Bus 686 towards Brighouse will divert via Bonegate, Bradford Road and Ludenscheid Link.
The alternative route for drivers is via unaffected part of Waterloo Road, Garden Road, Halifax Road, and vice versa.
Stainland Road, Stainland
Closed to allow for works by Yorkshire Water to take place until October 30.
Team Pennine Service 536 will divert from Outlane via Lindley Moor Road, Ainley Top Roundabout, Lindley Road, Blackley Road, Hammerstone Leach Lane, Broad Carr Lane and Station Road to a normal route at Holywell Green.
Service 537 will divert from Outlane via Lindley Moor Road, Ainley Top Roundabout, Lindley Road and Blackley Road to Victoria Road.
A shuttle bus will be operating between 7am to 7pm from Lindley Moor Road, New Hey Road, Stainland Road, Saddleworth Road and Stainland Road to West View at Hollywell Green.
New Road, Hebden Bridge
New Road is affected by emergency roadworks to October 29.
Services 590, 591 and 592 will divert as follows:
Towards Todmorden diverting via Commercial Street, Lees Yard and Albert Street.
Towards Halifax diverting via Hope Street, Lees Yard and Commercial Street.
Services 594, 596 and 598 are diverting via Albert Street, Lees Yard and Commercial Street.
Service 595 toward Hebden Bridge is diverting via Albert Street Lees Yard and Commercial Street.
Service B3 is diverting via Commercial Street.
Village Street, Norwood Green
The road is closed due to roadworks until October 30.
South Pennine 547 is unable to reach Norwood Green terminus. Please catch your bus from bus stop 45014901 Village Street.
Sandbeds Road/Highroad Well Lane, Pellon
The road is closed between 9am and 5pm until November 3.
TeamPennine service 20 Halifax to Rye Lane, will now terminate at the Pellon New Road Spring Hall Lane stop.
The alternative route for drivers is via Roils Head Road, Gibbet Street, Spring Hall Lane, Pellon New Road and vice versa.
Broadway, Sowerby
Broadway is affected by roadworks until November 4.
First Bus 579 is diverting from St Peter’s Avenue then via Stocks Lane and Sowerby New Road. Not serving Rooley Heights and Broadway.
The alternative route for drivers is via The Newlands, Dean Lane.
