Christmas in Calderdale: Everything you need to know about six weeks of Christmas markets at Halifax's Piece Hall

The iconic landmark will be getting into the festive spirit by hosting six weekends of Christmas markets.

Visitors will be able to enjoy stalls from scores of independent traders selling homeware, jewellery, food and plenty of potential gifts.

Previous festive seasons have also seen The Piece Hall welcome a traditional carousel and big wheel ride, as well as a huge Christmas tree.

The markets will be held every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from November 13 until December 20.

On Fridays and Saturdays, they will be open from 10am until 6pm, and on Sundays from 10am until 4pm.
