Halifax's Stan Moody one game away from reaching World Snooker Championships
Halifax’s Stan Moody is one step away from achieving his dream of playing in the World Snooker Championships at the Crucible.
Stan beat Robbie Williams 10-5 in the third round of qualifying yesterday (Sunday) and now has just one more round to get through before reaching the main draw.

He will face China’s Jiang Jun tomorrow (Tuesday), who is ranked 78 in the world and beat four-time ranking event semi-finalist Elliot Slessor in the third round.
If Stan wins, it will be the first time he’ll have reached the World Snooker Championships, which start on April 18.
