Who is playing at The Piece Hall: Massive pop icon added to Piece Hall headliners for 2027
Organisers of The Piece Hall summer gigs have added a huge name to next year’s line-up.
Pop icon Ronan Keating will perform at the Halifax landmark as part of his Just Getting Started world tour celebrating his 30-year career.
The chart-topper will perform at The Piece Hall on Friday, July 23, bringing his catalogue of Boyzone classics and global solo hits.
Ronan will be joined on the night by Blue and the Germein Sisters.
Looking ahead to the tour, Ronan said: “I’ve been incredibly lucky to have spent more than three decades doing what I love.
"I’ve travelled the world, made records I’m enormously proud of and, most importantly, had audiences singing those songs back to me night after night.
“The reason I’ve called this tour Just Getting Started is because I genuinely feel I’m entering a new chapter.
"I feel creatively energised, deeply grateful and more connected to what I do than ever, and I can’t wait to share that with people around the world.”
His time in Boyzone and a highly successful solo career escalated Ronan to a household name around the world, and he has sold more than 45m records globally, spanning a catalogue of 21 albums.
His first solo album, Ronan, went straight to number one in the UK and spent over a year in the charts.
His album 10 Years of Hits not only also went straight to number one but as of today, has surpassed two billion streams.
Nicky Chance-Thompson, CEO of The Piece Hall Charitable Trust, said: “Just three announcements in, this is already shaping up to be an amazing season as we welcome these chart-topping superstars to Halifax!
“From your bedroom wall to our iconic venue, we’re definitely making a few teenage dreams come true with this phenomenal night.
"The UK pop scene was the envy of the world in the 90s and 00s and we’re bringing the cream of the crop to Calderdale!
“This will be an unmissable show. Get ready to sing and maybe scream your hearts out.”
Tickets for Ronan’s show go on general sale at 10am on Friday, September 25 via ticketmaster.co.uk .
