Duo from Halifax to be honoured at Pride of Britain Awards 2026
The founders of Andy’s Man Club are to be honoured at this year’s Pride of Britain Awards.
Elaine Roberts and Luke Ambler founded the suicide prevention charity in Halifax after Elaine’s son, Luke’s brother-in-law, Andy took his own life in 2016, aged 23, with the charity named in his honour.
From its single room in Halifax, the charity has grown into a nationwide network with hundreds of groups across the UK.
The 2026 awards take place tonight and will be broadcast on ITV on Thursday evening.
