and live on Freeview channel 276
Revered hip hop artist Loyle Carner will be coming to the town and its beautiful venue on Tuesday, July 9.
The Piece Hall show is part of a very select number of outdoor dates that Carner has announced and follows a sold-out concert at the Royal Albert Hall earlier this month.
Tickets go on general sale at 10am this Friday (October 27) via ticketmaster.co.uk.
The 29-year-old Londoner has graced massive festival shows and venues across the UK including a headline slot at Glastonbury’s West Holts stage.
Carner has also sold out shows across Europe, Australia and New Zealand and is now playing the sold-out US leg of his world tour.
He has received multiple Mercury and Brits nominations, and his critically-lauded 2022 album hugo charted at number three in the UK album chart.
Yesterday, organisers of Live at The Piece Hall Cuffe and Taylor and The Piece Hall Trust announced the first four headliners for next summer’s shows – Nile Rodgers & CHIC, Richard Ashcroft, Jess Glynne and rock legends Status Quo – with many more to be announced very soon.
Nicky Chance Thompson, CEO of The Piece Hall Charitable Trust, said they are delighted to be adding Loyle to the line-up.
“We're so looking forward to welcoming such a big talent to our historic venue on the back of sell out dates around the world,” she said.
“With his insightful, thought-provoking lyrics I know the unique style of this critically-acclaimed rapper will be so well received.”
