Town boss Pete Wild says any positive result at Wrexham on Tuesday night would be a fantastic way to follow their win at Bromley at the weekend.

And Wild is expecting a similar sort of test at Wrexham, who are three points behind Town in 12th place.

“We’re all in a good place after Saturday, but we’re now desperate to repeat how we played on Saturday tomorrow night,” said the Town boss.

“I think it’s going to be a similar sort of game, Wrexham are quite direct, like to get the ball forward, into forward areas, early, like Bromley.

“So I expect another physical encounter with a team that will probably play a similar way to Bromley.”

Wild added: “Any sort of positive result tomorrow night to back-up Saturday would be fantastic.

“Any points you can pick up in the road always help, and if you can back them up with wins at home, then it’s good form.

“So any points we can get tomorrow night would be duly welcomed.”

Wing-back Danny Williams is rated at 50-50 to play due to swelling on his ankle.

On loan striker Lewis Mansell returned to training today so should return to the squad, but midfielder Martin Woods missed training today so isn’t expected to feature.

Wild is hoping to have striker Jake Hyde back among the squad in the next seven days, and is hoping midfielder Reuben Noble-Lazarus will be in contention within the next 10 days.
