"Really pleased with where we're at," says McGrath ahead of Town's visit to Southend
John McGrath says he is really pleased with the progress of his FC Halifax Town side ahead of their visit to Southend United on Saturday.
The Shaymen have won their last four games in all competitions, and have lost just once in their last ten matches.

And McGrath says he is very happy with how things are going at the moment.
"Massively, considering new management team, new style of play, a lot of upheaval in the summer on and off the pitch and having to recruit the bulk of the squad," he said.
"But really pleased with where we're at, really pleased with how it's going, playing what I feel is a decent brand of football, an exciting brand of football for the fans, and I'm really pleased."
Eight players have started 11 league games or more for Town this season, and McGrath says having such a settled side is helping.
"It does, it helps when it comes to little things like set-pieces - free-kicks, corner kicks - everyone, because they've been doing it for so many games together, everyone gets used to each others' games," he said.
"That's not what the lads out of the team want to hear but it's their job to try and work their way in by being ready when called upon, and to be fair, every time we've called on a sub or made changes, the lads have not failed."
McGrath is expected to name an unchanged team from the one that started in last Saturday's 3-2 over South Shields in the FA Cup.
"Obviously the goalkeeper is nailed in, the back four looks really settled, they look really good," he said.
"The two full-back are chipping in with goals now which is great to see, obviously Max (Bardell) scored on Saturday and Raheem got two the week before.
"Flinty (Will Flint) and Hobbo (Shaun Hobson) seem to have a really good partnership, they're massively different as centre-halves go but compliment each other really well.
"There's probably three players for those two spaces as deep-lying midfielders. Cody Johnson's got that nailed on, Tayt (Trusty) has been really good recently and obviously you've got Will Hugill.
"I've got an abundance of talent high up the pitch. We rested Tommy McDermott on Saturday and Connor Douglas did really well, Zak's injury has allowed Cruz Allen to play in the ten role and he's played extremely well.
"Tolls (Ben Tollitt) has nailed down his wide left spot and Conor Carty, it looks like the goals are starting to flow a bit for him now.
"Conor's work-rate sets him apart from a lot of other centre-forwards in the division and that's why I fought hard to get him here."
Southend are third in the National League, having won eight of 13 league games this season, but were on the end of an FA Cup upset last weekend, lsoing at home to Berkhamsted.
"It'll be a good test but I also feel that going away to Solihull Moors was a good test of a team that can travel away from home and get the job done," McGrath said.
"Gateshead at home, with all the upheaval that was going on around them, we still remained professional and did our job.
"So yes, it's against a team in a position where I want to be but I'll view it as just another game.
"I know the importance of it, but it's three points and that's just the same as Solihull and Gateshead."
