Piece Hall gigs 2027: Indie rock favourites added to growing line-up for next year's massive summer of music in Halifax
A band famous for starting mass singalongs in festival fields are heading to Halifax.
Indie rock stars Courteeners will perform at Live At The Piece Hall on Friday, July 9.
And they will be joined on the night by Halifax’s very own rising indie star Ellur.
The Courteeners show is the third announcement of the day for next year’s Piece Hall gigs, with Robert Plant and Basement Jaxx also added to the line-up

Tickets to all shows go on sale at 10am on Friday, November 6 via ticketmaster.co.uk.
Since releasing their debut album St Jude in 2008, Courteeners have quietly and confidently established themselves as one of the biggest bands in Britain.
The Manchester indie rockers have released seven studio albums and produced fan-favourite tracks including Not Nineteen Forever, Are You In Love With A Notion?, Bide Your Time, Cavorting, No You Didn’t, No You Don’t and Modern Love.
The band have sold more than one million albums in the UK, with each of their last five albums reaching the Top 5.

Nicky Chance-Thompson, CEO of The Piece Hall Charitable Trust, said: “Twenty years in the making, it’s easy to see why Courteeners are so popular with their legions of loyal fans.
"With their relatable lyrics, catchy riffs and honest energy, they’re everything a proper Northern indie band should be.
"It’s also fantastic to welcome Halifax’s own Ellur back to The Piece Hall stage, shining a spotlight on the incredible homegrown talent we’re lucky to have right here on our doorstep."
